If you are looking for clothes
You do not need an account. We count visits anonymously: we keep only daily numbers (how often a shop's items appeared in search, how often an item was opened, how often the WhatsApp button was pressed…) and search words without knowing who searched. We do not keep your IP address or create an ID for you.
To prevent abuse we use your IP address, scrambled, for a short time only (10 minutes for counting visits, one hour for hold requests), after which it is deleted automatically.
Your browser keeps a temporary mark (sessionStorage) so a visit is not counted twice; it is cleared when you close the tab. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
"Hold it for me" requests
When you send a hold request we keep your name, WhatsApp number, size and note and send them to that shop only so it can contact you. We do not give them to anyone else or use them for advertising. We delete requests after 6 months.
If you own a shop
We keep your registration details (your name, shop name, email, WhatsApp number, city and address, and the map pin if you add one) and your item photos. Shop details and items are shown publicly on the site; your email and personal name are not.
We use your email for the monthly report, reminders about updating items and your subscription, and hold requests. You can turn off the monthly report on your reports page.
Other services
- The site is hosted by a web hosting company and emails are sent through an email service. We choose them so they keep your data safe and do not use it for anything else.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when you open the site.
- When you tap WhatsApp, call, directions (Google Maps) or a shop's social accounts, you go to that service and its own policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we keep about you by writing to btlaqi@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
We may change this policy and will show the date of the last update at the top.
